The Customer Service Directorate at Al Ain Distribution Company, organized a workshop concerning the leading in supporting energy efficient consumption in AL Ain City across the residential sector initiative and activating the partnership with the markets. The workshop comes in the framework of a series of initiatives , workshops and sessions that are designed to enhance the partnership with the markets and the distribution channels . Several authorities and governmental sectors representatives attended the workshop such as , Abu Dhabi Distribution Company , Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council , Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology, Abu Dhabi Regulation & Supervision Bureau, and a number of the agents and suppliers who provide ACs and Cooling units in AL Ain City .
The workshop is aiming to spot the light on the vital and important role of the side demand management strategy that comes in accordance with the strategic transformation course which is adopted by ADEWA and its affiliate companies in collaboration with the instructions and directions of the visionary leadership and Abu Dhabi plan in its infrastructures pivot that aiming to a sustainable , cost effective and reliable water, sewage and electricity sector and sustainable and secure supply of water and electricity services that guarantee the effective and efficient use of sources which included both water & electricity side demand management and consumption conservation in different sectors and regulating the cooling sector to ensure its efficiency.
Eng. Bader Nasser EL Thehli, executive operation manager, in AL Ain Distribution Company stressed that , the company instated the side demand strategy in cooperation with the consultant Ms. DNVGL, that contains number of programs such as preserving the consumption of natural and financial resources and sustaining the environment through provision of technical consultations and expanding the customers awareness to conserving water and electricity . Al Ain Distribution Company always striving in cooperation with its strategic partners’ such as Abu Dhabi Water& Electricity Authority, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, regulation and Supervision Bureau , in addition to the logistics partners to activate a comprehensive mechanism to apply the strategy of demand side management across edifying customers the negative impacts of misusing the resources and enabling the customers to take wise decisions for the wise and optimum use of the natural resources.
