Al Ain Distribution Company participated in the events of “Health and Safe Community”, that organized by Al Ain Municipality in participation of number of government and private companies in Al Bawadi Mall. Through the event, AADC aimed to reach a large number of visitors in order to educate them on the importance of preserving water and electricity and their best uses, spread the right consumption habits and enrich public conservation culture, specially the children by handing them number of booklets, awareness leaflets and cartoon stories.
In this regard, AADC prepared at its stand in the mall an educational a corner to discuss the matters of conversation and examples of optimal use of energy. As an example, AADC presents some of the standard lights and energy-efficient lights, each were connected to a power meter, so visitors can see the difference between the two kinds in energy consumption and cost. Also, visitors were able to review the differences between old meters and new automatic meters; the devices turning on and turning off, as well as remote reading.
