In the alignment with UAE’s celebrations of Commemoration Day, Al Ain Distribution Company celebrated the occasion at the main building. Started with lowering the flag on AADC Building, Power House Building and all AADC customer service branches. Followed by one minute’s silence and supplication for martyrs who provide their lives to protect their country. After the one-minute silence, the flag raised again with playing UAE national anthem.
AADC acting managing director, Abdulla Al Sheryani stated that The sons and daughters of UAE believe on the scarification since ancient time, the value of scarifying oneself for the nation sake is an honored heritage full of heroism that we inherited from Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May his soul rests in peace-. He is our first teacher and the caring and founding father of UAE, who instilled the values of courage and heroism in the hearts of UAE nation. He was always said “The defense of the Union is a sacred duty that every citizen should undertake and the performance of military service is an honor for all citizens. It’s our duty to strive and encourage the work progress of the country and to protect it with same spirit and courage of our ancestors”.
