Al Ain Distribution Company had participated at the activities of the Physics Day under the theme “ Electricity in our life” The Phsysics Day was organized by Al Jaheli Secondary school for girls , the company participation aiming to educate and enlighten the students and increase their awareness in respect with the electricity hazards and the conservation methods.
Eng. Yousef Al Bloushi, from the company presented awareness lectures to the students explaining how to rationally consume energy at homes and using the electrical appliances in an economic manner to save power. Engineer Yousef has also showed the students how to avoid electrical hazards at homes.
The girl’s students had also reviewed the conservation cultural corner which is particularly designed by the company to increase the community individual’s awareness in terms of the conservation methods and the safe use of electricity at homes. In the corner the students have seen a number of the normal lights and other energy saving lights that are connected with an electrical meter to indicate the difference in consumption between the normal lamps and the energy saving lambs. Also they have seen the difference between the cost calculations between meters the old meters and the new automatic meters.
