Al Ain Distribution Company had organized a cultural and awareness workshop in respect with power conservation and electricity hazards at Al Ain Center for care and rehabilitation for children with special needs, the company is targeting to raise and spread the conservation culture and stress on the importance of preserving the natural resources.
Al Ain Distribution is keen on instilling the culture of energy conservation among all the community segments and to educate the public the importance of protecting natural resources and keep them from wastage and finding practical solutions for power consumption.
Organizing such workshops and awareness campaigns on continuous way all the year around shall increase and create the rational consumption culture among the community people and shall correct community wrong daily customs related to how rationally use water and electricity and creating well aware and educated generation who realize the importance of preserving the environment.
The workshop discussed the possibility of students’ great contribution in reducing energy consumption and the difference made as a result of following simple procedures and steps such as reporting of any fault, water leakage and turning off computers after usage.
At the end of the workshop our staff had distributed promotional material and gifts to the students for encouraging them to preserve and wisely use the water and electricity and to guide them on how properly use the natural resources.
