Number of steps / duration

Required documents delivered to Al Ain Municipality or certified real estate companies that are registered in the municipality: -

· New Clearance certificate for the meter.

· Valid Emirates ID card for the tenant.

· Trading /industrial license (commercial / industrial)

· Presence of the applicant or his representative.

For unregistered tenancies (Shaabi Houses) visit AADC Customer Service Centers:

· Valid Emirates ID card for the tenant.

· Printed tenancy

· Presence of the applicant or his representative.

Required Documents

· Submit required documents to Al Ain Municipality or certified real estate companies to register the Tenancy.

· Receive an SMS from Al Ain Distribution Company informing of handling the request within 48 working hours.

For unregistered tenancies (Shaabi Houses):

· Visit any of AADCs’ customer service centers and submit all required documents.

· 2,000 AED Insurance for commercial tenant

· 5,000 AED Insurance for industrial tenant

· Government tenant excused from the payment of the insurance
