visit Electricity
Department
AADC entertained HCT students
from Engineering College, electrical
engineering department, to inform
them about the latest control
systems in electricity networks and
the latest technological systems,
devices, equipment and electrical
transformers,
to
scientifically
illustrate to them the way to transmit
and distribute electricity.
AADCengineersbriefedthestudentson
the latest tools and techniques adopted
by the company in protecting electrical
networks, “transmission networks,
and distribution networks”, from faults
through insulation of damaged sections
of the electrical network.
Besides, the students took a tour in
the Islamic Institution Station through
which they acquainted with the basic
constituents of electrical protection
systemsandthe importanceofelectrical
protection in reducing damage that
may occur to equipment due to high-
voltage or high temperature resulting
during the fault, and in preventing or
reducing the damage that may befall
nearby personnel or laborers operating
the equipment.
AADCGeneral Manager MohamedBin
Omair Al Shamsi said that thecompany
is keen to encourage students to
benefit from the expertise of its
engineers and technicians to upgrade
young national cadres and support
their progress is their specializations
that benefit their country.
He also added that the company
supports students training programs
and recruit all its capabilities and
projects in services of training
students to contribute in developing
efficient and skilled specialists
required to join work in the company
and in all other agencies, institutions
and circles. He noted that training
male and females students in the
various projects of the company
comes within AADC’s cooperation
with all community institutions,
especially educational institution, with
the purpose of elevating the levels of
graduates, especially in engineering
and technical specializations required
for the company.
AADC hosted female students from
Al Massirah School in the Power
House Building with the purpose of
informing them about the latest tools
and techniques that are followed
in distributing water inside Al Ain
city and the ways of monitoring it.
This was also meant to encourage
students to benefit from the expertise
offered by the company for them
with the purpose of improving the
efficiency of young national cadres
by orienting them towards required
disciplines in labor market.
For, AADC cares to encourage
students to benefit from the
company expertise through having
them meet its employees, engineers
and technicians during hosting them.
The students took a tour of the
university station, during which
they were informed about the basic
constituents of water distributions
systems in Al Ain city and the ways
of its functioning and follow-up.
This visit highlighted the importance of
exchangingscientificexpertisebetween
AADC and academic institutions,
besides motivating and encouraging
students to pursue education and keep
pace with development of devices and
equipment, and endowing them with
new scientific experiences.
