AADC National Day celebrations
Through a special pavilion, AADC
participated in the events of the
UAE 43rd National Day Celebrations
organized by Al Ain Municipality in
Hazza` Bin Zayed Stadium, and that
lasted for two days, in December.
AADC participation is meant to
introduce the company to the visitors
of Hazza` Bin Zayed Stadium, to
promote its societal participation
through national occasions, and to
highlight its positive role in serving the
community, besides its main role in
distributing water and electricity in Al
Ain city and its suburbs.
This included the specialized
employees’ illustration of ways to
rationalize electricity consumption
at home and to provide a safe and
optimum environment for the use of
electrical appliances in an economical
and energy-saving manner. It also
included explanation of the means
of prevention of electricity hazard,
and elaboration on how to rationalize
water consumption in daily life, as in
cases of bathing and cleaning.
In addition, Hazza` Stadium visitors
received awareness-raising booklets
and brochures that are intended
to spread and promote safety and
security culture, and to adopt the
best means of water and electricity
rationalization.
Participating in the National
,Day Celebration even
in Hazza` Bin Zayed Stadium
AADC participated in a national
popular march organized by Al Ain
Police Directorate in cooperation with
other police authorities, ministries and
public and private circles, institutions
and agencies, as well as a number
of citizens and residents in Al Ain
City. The march commenced in front
of Al Ain Police headquarters in a
patriotic scene of societal cohesion,
headed by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al
Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police
Directorate; Dr. Matar Al Nuaimi,
General Manager of Al Ain City
Municipality; and a number of officials
in the public and private entities, as
well as some key figures in Al Ain. The
candidate of Zayed II Military College
participated in the march through a
military show intervened by musical
performances and a cavaliers show,
besides folkloric and national songs
and hymns.
A number of students from Al Ain
Educational Zone and the higher
education institutes in Al Ain City
participated in the march holding
flags and pictures of His Highness
Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
President of the UAE (may Allah
safeguard him), and expressing
their loyalty and gratitude to the
higher leadership. They hailed the
achievements brought about along
the progress march of the UAE,
which has become one of the most
prominent
countries
nationally,
regionally and internationally.
As themarch reached theMunicipality
of Al Ain, the participants lined up in
front of the flag, and the candidate of
Zayed II Military College chanted the
oath of loyalty before the huge crowds
participating in the march. Then, the
Police Music Band played nationalist
musical pieces, following which the
attendees headed for the Municipality
Theater to watch the operetta
organized by the Directorate General
of Residence and Foreigners Affairs
Department in Al Ain, in cooperation
with Al Ain Education Zone.
