Under theme “Leaving no one behind”, Al Ain Distribution Company celebrates the world water day, which falls on March 22nd of every year to focus on the importance of society sustainability and welfare as a human right. In the presence of 10 government entities, AADC arranged at its main building a variety of events such as two workshops on the importance of saving water and wise use of it. As well as, managing a tour to the smart home which designed by AADC in the main building, to introduce visitors with its facilities which includes the most important energy-efficiency appliances and systems.
In the occasion, AADC managing director, Abdulla Al Sheryani stated that celebrating this day is to share all world countries in educating its different societies on the importance of saving water and using it perfectly and economically. In this regard, AADC has launched many continuous campaigns to spread awareness among students of all stages, employees and common people, as the latest campaign was 10/10 savings campaign, which presents five ways to save water and five ways to save electricity, which will lead to save up to 10% of monthly bill. In addition to urge people to change their bad habits of consumptions to save energy for next generations.
