In the occasion of UAE Flag Day that falls on 3rd November every year, Al Ain Distribution Company celebrated and raised the flag at the Main Building in Al Jimi District- Administrative Center, as a respond to the call of Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President, Primer Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in celebrating flag day to mark the anniversary of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan becoming the president, May God Save Him-.
The celebration started at 11 am with the gathering of AADC Top Management, Directors, Managers and Heads of sections at the front of the main building to raise the flag on flagpole in compliance with hoisting the flag across all government departments and buildings across the emirates as reflection of their belonging to their homeland, their loyalty to their prudent leadership and their commitment to the union values that laid by the founding fathers.
On the occasion, AADC acting managing director, Mr. Abdulla Al Sheryani stated that this day is one of the most important activity on UAE agendas as the flag represents UAE’s unity and sovereignty, in addition the celebration of such day is a national duty that promotes responsibility and giving among people. Also, he added that this day is to renew the determination and to duplicate work and efforts to keep our country as a beacon that spreads lights and success and a civilization of no impossible and no limitations.
