courses for employees
Safety, Health, Environment, Security, and Quality
Department (SHESQD) attributes high importance to
the distinguished training courses of AADC employees
according to the highest and best international standards,
since employees constitute the primary frontline of the
company among its customers, and in turn they should
be trained according to the best standards so that they
can do deliver qualitative services to our community.
SHESQD thus works on training employees through
different courses that run as follows:
A course on SHESQ systems for
water and electricity networks
bracing
SHESQD organized a bracing
(resuscitation) course for safety, health
and environment systems on electricity
networks, which included all engineers
and technicians having commercial
license from AADC. The course aims to
renew the license certificates granted by
AADC to technicians, and to renew the
information provided to them through
communication with them.
An awareness-raising workshop for contractors on lesson learned from accidents
The workshop witnessed a review of the risks resulting from accidents, which require concerted efforts in raising awareness about
these risks and questing for the best ways to avoid it and reduce its consequences in light of field experiments and through
benefiting from related scientific and academic expertise.
An awareness-raising workshop on the lessons learned in projects management from accidents
Theworkshop aims to extract lessons learned fromprevious accidents, to highlight the preventive, awareness-raising role in limiting
the risks of accidents, to activate the role of supportive authorities and display models of inventions and suggestions proposed for
the development of rescue works, and to put forth a futuristic vision to deal with such type of accidents.
SHESQD organizing a training course on occupational safety and health for GDADP officers
Safety, Health, Environment, Security, and Quality Department (SHESQD) organized a training course of occupational safety and
health in all walks of life, for officers of theGeneral Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police (GDADP). The course that lasted for a week was
attended by nearly fifty officers and noncommissioned officers, in the headquarters of the PoliceOfficers Training Institute in Police
College, Abu Dhabi.
Thecourseaimedatraisingthelevelofawarenessregardingtherequirementsofhealth,safety,environmentandqualitymanagement
system, which ensures safety for workers and protects them from risks to which they may be exposed during performance of their
work, at work sites.
A course on public safety for
AADC internal security
SHESQD organized a course on the
rules of public safety and security for
AADC internal security employees, with
the purpose of enabling employees to
master the rules of public safety and
security out of care for their own safety. It
isalsomeant toenable themtooffer help
in case of accidents that occur during
work hours, and to create a safe and
eco-friendly environment according to
the standards adopted by the company
within its plans and strategies targeting
environment conservation.
