Manpower Planning & Development
Section, an offshoot of AADC Human
Resources Dept., organized several
training courses in Al Ain Rotana Hotel
that lasted for a week. It witnessed
the participation of a number of AADC
employees and engineers, within the
company’s strategy aiming at training
and qualifying its human cadres to
invest modern scientific programs
and technologies, and to enhance
their skills in all fields.
AADC pays special heed to training
through development of distinctive
programs that aim at constant
development of human resources, so
that the training plan can cope with
actual needs of each department. For,
each department is entrusted with the
jurisdiction to determine its training
needs, based on the actual needs of
employees.
These courses, that covered several
fields includingPowerPlantGenerator,
Electrical Drawing & Wiring, as well
as Creative Thinking, and Excellence
Standards, which aim at improving
the employees’ skills and upgrading
their competence, and also at helping
them provide distinguished services
to customers. Indeed, organizing
these training courses and workshops
comes within the framework of AADC
policy regarding the necessity of
developing and improving employees’
skills. For, AADC implements an
integrated plan in collaboration with
a number of international companies
specialized in training engineer,
technicians and employees in all
fields, with the purpose of elevating
their performance and pursuing
recent developments in all fields.
Power Plant Generator: Operation,
Maintenance & Protection
This course is limited to engineers
and technicians as it aims at helping
them comprehend the different
conditions for the operation of
power generation plants, and it also
helps in comprehending the basics
of diesel engines and the ways of
operating and maintaining it, and of
exploring and fixing its malfunctions.
Electrical Drawing &Wiring
The purpose of this workshop is to
inform engineers and technicians
about the different standards and
practices adopted in reading and
analyzing electrical drawings and
plans, and also to help in deciphering
the codes and the language used
in electrical drawings in a way the
conforms to international standards
and practices. Hence, it provides a
detailed vision of diverse types of
utilized electrical drawings.
Creative thinking and innovation
techniques
This course aims at introducing
thinking forms and ways of
distinguishing between innovation and
creativity, providing necessary skills for
implementation of creativity principles
and elements that help in developing
‘thinking outside of the box,’ and
solving problems, as well as acquiring
the ability to apply the tools that help
in adopting innovation and creativity
in solving problems. It also helps in
identifying the ways to generate and
implement creative thoughts in the
work field.
Excellence standards in human
resources
This course targets circulation of
excellence culture among human
resources
employees,
though
enlightening employees on excellence
standards and implementation of
it to produce an excellent work
environment, besides the ways of
linking employee’s objectives to the
company strategy with the purpose
of reaching the highest excellence
standards.

management and stress reduction, in Al
Ain Rotana Hotel, with the purpose of
developing and improving administrative
culture relating to mechanisms, support
and improvement of administrative
competence and efficacy.

organized a five-days training course (26

and SCADA system for its employees, in
Al Ain Rotana Hotel, with the purpose of
training them to theways of implementing
such system, which relates to data
collection, control, andsupervision.Sucha
systemmonitors and controls operations,
knowing that such operations vary
according to the systems for which it is
developed.
